I’m replacing the rear pads and rotors on a ‘00 Integra LS tomorrow morning - any pointers other than the caliper tool to turn in the pistons?

There’s 20 yrs of built up brake dust. Make sure you wear good gloves - I like the extra-heavy-duty ones from Walmart. They have grippy bits on them that are much better than regular disposable gloves.

Take the wheels off first. Trust me. So much easier.

Take a picture of the hand brake mechanism before you disassemble it. It’s not terribly complicated, but wouldn’t wanna have to search through forums and google to see how it goes back together.

I didn’t get that far, but I did curse Honda for making those calipers turn-in style. Fuckers.

I ended up shedding the gloves to get my hands in there to turn in-and-out bolts. Surprisingly wasn’t that dirty. Still, it took 3 hours in the cold.
